Brief Bio:
Portraits.....the
favorite subject in a career that began by loving to paint portraits of Native Americans and cowboy friends from Wickenburg, where Patti and her husband and daughters moved
to in 1972. Her paintings were represented in several western art galleries, won awards at shows and
are included in many private and corporate collections. Her love of painting portraits led to many commissions of
children, adults, families and pets, mostly in oil and pastel.
A
career highlight has been painting a portrait for the Schillings of Curt and Randy Johnson with their World
Series and MVP Trophies after the Diamondbacks won the 2001 World Series!
Patti studied
at The American Academy of Art
in Chicago and continued with portrait workshops over the years with Daniel Greene, Chris Saper and other fine instructors.
Her career also branched into painting murals and most recently illustrating a children's book. The common thread has always been
the love of painting people.
